I think this captures the essence of lapis lazuli well in a calm, less saturated way. The reformulation to use yellow-gold flakies instead of the original orange-gold, which Kit was very transparent about, matches well. In the pic, it's 3-4 coats except for the pinky which has 2 coats over a neutral pink-ish base (changed my mind mid-painting so I painted over it!)
I'm a sucker for blues and this is such a unique colour in my collection!
